Full Version: Crashes after an hour

Idk if anyone else has experienced this, but my game works fine for about an hour to an hour and a half and just randomly crashes. Game closing and Bot needing to be reattached. Does not happen normally when i play the game until I attach the bot. Did not happen until recently (about 2 months ago)

Anybody know anything about this?

I figured you guys were aware of it but was curious if it was widespread or my system :)
Getting the same thing, but not until the 3.3 patch.
So far have only observed this on multiple gathering profiles, and, gathering markers without a profile in HW areas.
Same thing with wifes pc and character.
Fishing ironically has been fine, could be coincidence.
Timeframe before it starts doing this is random, sometimes right away, sometimes works for 15 minutes then locks.
Needs full reboot of game/bot to run again, or, changing jobs+areas > enabling it for a second, disabling it, then switching back to a gather setup. If i simply disable/enable it tries to revert back to the task that it was locking up on. Job + area change gets it to stop that.
If I leave it running long enough with this happening, it does crash the game.
Edit: Haven't seen it happen in coerthas west or forelands actually, just the others.


Took a console note > This spams non stop in the console about 3 times per second.

Seems to be the case, pre 3.3 it worked amazingly
Illdyshire used to cause a similar "game freeze" unfreeze "refreeze" after 3.3, but works good now in ildy.
Tried it a few more times, the biggest chance of it happening quickly seems to be in sea of clouds, haven't past a full rotation in that zone yet hitting botanist nodes for light kissed.

Figured I'd update my usage, after the huge patch today I'm not getting any lag or freezing going on. Back like it was pre 3.3!
Not sure if the patch was specifically for things like this or not so if not passing the news on.
