1st, check your grind settings, since it goes based on that. Set you min/max levels based on your character (no min/max if 70 etc), set to do fates and fates only, uncheck luminous and atma, etc.
Then, start the quest, buy your first minion from the npc (buy the top one so as to not confuse the add on) select the minion you bought on the add on and press start. leave minions and weapons that you do not have clear on the check boxes.
