safe to run the bot with game minimized?

It is, but you need to watch for if the bot gets stuck it may sometimes spin around a lot before teleporting to the closest waypoint and trying again. Just don't leave the bot on for (imo) a hour and a half straight, the chances of a manual ban is increased when your not around. (Remember, the age of rage botting is over :P)
