Silly question, but how can I find ID's?

I was playing about with a few things and thought it might be handy to have pre-casts in place for things like Prey on T10...then I realized that the whole time I've been using this I've always used skills that were already identified...the only exception being mobs...and those are rather simple to add. :(

use the dev tool in game and use the buff info protion

Or use xivdb.com, the buff ID will show up in the address bar.
