Hi, I'm installing MMO Minion fresh and run FFXIV_Updater.exe in an empty directory. Each time it's ran, the program freezes while downloading Central Thanalan.obj or Central_Shroud.obj.

Is there something going on with the server or is it my program?

I've tried rebooting the computer and disabling A/V software, but nothing seems to alleviate the problem.

that file is VERY large, how long did you wait?

Overnight once. After reboot, it's been 3 hours.

Something else to note, I'm using the exe found in the User CP.
Is there a different place with a newer version we should get directed to?
I'm hesitant to renew the app if the initial installer constantly hangs.

i just did a fresh install from the exe in the user CP and it worked fine, so it has to be something enviromental on your computer. but you can try the beta launcher. http://www.mmominion.com/Thread-New-Toys-MinionApp-BETA

The beta launcher downloaded and updated everything without a hitch, thanks
