Is there any way to stop the bot from locking onto targets in assist mode? Doesn't matter the class or profile, sometimes it will auto target enemies and instantly switch back to them if I try to manually select one

In the Assist mode scroll to Settings and check if you have set the "Assist" function following:

Nearest
Tank Assist
Lowest Health

Setting this to "None" will not auto-target/switch monsters
