Anyway, the prices of shards/crystal/unspoiled on several servers have already fallen to 9gil/19gil/49gil respectively, so I guess the remaining servers will follow suit.

Most smart gil sellers have already moved away from gathering and shifted to the *next* profitable gil venture.

1) Mining seems to be more efficient than Botany in terms of leveling from 0-50
-> Ore and water sells quicker and higher prices than Wood and Feathers (Gems and Fruits still suck).

2) Bot will always get stuck on Botany nodes as compared to Mining nodes, even though it's the same mesh.

3) Botany nodes are always further apart than Mining nodes.
-> That's why you see more Mining bots than Botany bots.

4) Meshing more nodes is not always advisable: 3 nodes vs 4 nodes vs 5 nodes respawn rate vs efficiency
-> 3 nodes: 1x shard, 1x crystal, 2x shard (because of gathering + 1 @ node)
-> 4 nodes: 1x shard, 1x shard, 1x crystal, 2x shard or 1x shard, 1x crystal, 1x crystal, 2x shard
-> 5 nodes: 1x shard, 1x shard, 1x crystal, 1x crystal, 2x shard
-> 3 nodes configuration will always respawn the fastest and yields a shards:crystal ratio of 2:1 (if you bother to use wards)
-> 4 nodes is more random, it can give you a ratio from 4:1 to 3:2
-> 5 nodes will normally yield 1:1 but bot tends to very inefficient when it needs to deal with so many nodes (Bot doesn't use Traveling Salesman Algorithm to choose the next nearest node to farm)
