is any of it doable as a melee im having alot of trouble just wondering if im wasting my time as a melee

its not doable SOLO as melee but you can do it as melee with other people. except fights like titan story HM and ex, ulitmage weapon, and Coil turn 1-4. The other fights require a ranged person to bug the boss by attacking it from out side the circle or range of the boss to hit it. then melee can go down and fight as long as the melee do not pull agro its fine. You would just be better off as ranged to do it.
