I'm trying to run minion+game on my laptop, but i keep getting low FPS. Is there a way to use minion to lower game setting so game can run smoother?

only ingame settings. disable all.
make all settings to low and resolution as small as possible.

and when you not play by yourself activate "Disable Rendering Hack"

Also, you can usually use your graphics card drivers to lower settings past the in-game minimums, with catalyst control settings or nvidia graphics properties, or intel graphics properties. You're looking for something like "3d graphics settings"

i use nvidia geforce experience, which is a program that came with my graphic card, GTX 660. see if you have a program such as that and from there you can adjust your setting for performance instead of quality. it helps a lot.
