what i have notice while trying this out is that it only hunts the first ID number. is there a way to fix this? i have 2 IDs in the box. but it will only attack the first one. never even touch the second ID.

What version of Specific Hunting are you using?
Are both monster in the same area?

The module checks for the first monster within it's range that meet the criteria specified If it never run's out of the first monster why would it look for another?

Tompost, I don't normally have an issue helping people. That said YOU make me NOT want to help you. Before asking help did you even try to figure it out on your own? Perhaps summon the Chocobo Companion and look for the name in the party list? Please think before asking questions. And just for you information the answer to your question is in this post.

[size=large] am running 1.95. both mobs are in the same area. it runs out of the ID #1 and goes looking for more when there is ID #2 right there.

I second this, skipping tagged mobs would be a great improvement. I did browse through the DEV data and could not find a good indicator for that.
Only the HP of the mob could be used but one would need to poll the HP while casting and abort if necessary.

I actually commented out this bit of code right at the very end, and it stops that behavior.

Code:
        local el = EntityList("nearest,alive,attackable,onmesh,fateid="..tostring(fateID))
        if ( el ) then
            local i,e = next(el)
            if (i~=nil and e~=nil) then
                return e
            end
        end

How do i use this code so i can stop attacking other people mobs?

Abby I've heard this from one other user. However no information was given when I asked for it. So I have no way to track down what the problem is. It's hard fixing a problem that as far as you can tell doesn't exist. So please provide me with as much information.

Also I'm working on a new version. that being said give me a few days.
