thanks gc.cake.
that fixed the cordial issue. the bot will mine again now.
however, Im still having a slight issue that when going from node to node I still drop to 1 to 2 fps, but when I use a node, the fps returns to normal.
any ideas there?

You're welcome. It's not really a fix :) more of a temporary patch to get the bot working until the real issue is fixed.
For your question, I've not had any issues with the FPS dropping when moving to/from nodes. The only thing I can recommend is maybe bumping your priority to Higher.
Right-click on your taskbar and start Task Manager. Click on the Process tab.
Find and Right-click on the MINIONAPP.exe -> Set Priority and change it to Above Normal.
This will give the minion app higher priority over ffxiv so it can do its calculations faster which might be causing your FPS issue.
