[QUESTION] Insane Attack Speed. - Freezerburn - 02-07-2015
This happened on Central Shroud when im doing a quest on "first time you see papalymo and yda, also the tree boss instance with sword impale on the log"
Upon going to the quest marker, there this a player "maybe a archer" doing "straight shot" like a machine gun on those poor mushroom and eft.
I thought, this is related on the perma swiftcast so i didnt bother checking it more or trying maybe illl get banned.
Later, I realize the perma swiftcast isn't working as told on the forums soo ... do you know whats that guy doing?

Nope. Its a straight shot, the straight shot icon spamming out of this player.

Turn on packet sniffing -> cast straight-shot -> recorded packets are logged -> do so until you can filter down to only the packet(s) related to straight-shot -> profit.
Or so you'd think. I haven't tried it myself, but that's how it used to work in 1.0 because they don't have any authoritative checks on skill spamming back then. Go figure?
I trumped it up, at the time, to the Japanese not knowing much about MMOs. 8|
