Ready Made Gathering Markers? - Bhaal - 03-03-2015
Does anyone have any ready made marker collections for mining, botany and fishing?
Eg : levels 1-50
Know that sounds lazy - but hey, thats why I use FFXIVMinion.
If there isnt currently a collection of markers for optimizing leveling of these crafts, I might try making one and testing it out with my toon.
Is it possible to export/save marker collections etc?

i am pretty sure the meshes come with markers.

yup bot comes with a set of default markers for gathering 1-50.

When I go to marker manager, i only see mining 5,10 and 15
Actually - tell a lie, I don't think there was a 5
When I was level 1 and I engaged the bot, it just ran to a place in Central Thanalan, and sat there idle.
I had to make some new marker profiles for grinding level 1-5
Are the marker profiles sub-divided by navmesh?
Eg: they only show the ones relevant to the nav mesh you are in?

yes silly they only show the markers for the mesh you are on. you may need to read the marker mananger tutorial. Markers control WHERE you go on the Current nav mesh. the nav mesh controls how you get there.

at lvl one a lot of people forget to enable the Prospect/Triangulate buff which allows you to see nodes.
you can make as many markers as you like but if you cant see nodes you cant farm them.
