Has anybody found a way to utilize this so it doesn't look so obvious? I once heard there is a way to make it so your character teleports "inside" the node so nobody can see them but I'm not sure.

There isn't a real way, even teleporting in the node or underground is EASY as hell to spot for basically anyone.

It doesn't do that anymore. You can use the Teleport option in combination with Paranoid also, so that it only teleports if there are no players nearby.
