Profile Manager Questions - Kate - 08-07-2015 Profile Manager not Saving Profile Correctly Would prefer it if a Dev could look into the profile manager rather than the usual "your an idiot, its your fault" we get from mods lol. Example: Creating 50-60 profile for SMN, i do the following: 1. Go to Apkallu falls in Old Gradania 2. Open up profile manager 3. Type name of new profile 50-60 SMN 4. Click "CREATE NEW PROFILE" 5. Grab the quest, open quests with J, highlight the quest, then "PULL QUEST ID" 6. Enter Summoner as job quest 7. Enter Quest lvl 50 8. Click "ADD NEW QUEST", In quests tab, new quest has been created! 9. Click the quest, Quest Editor opens up 10. Click "EDIT STEPS" 11. Current Step:1, Step Task: Start 12. Target the quest NPC 13. Click "PULL CURRENT VALUES", and put a delay in "6000" 14. Click "ADD NEW STEP" ** New Step is Added and visible in the "Steps" tab. ** 15. Manually accept the quest and move to the next area 16. At next NPC, go through the same process this time for "INTERACT" only. 17. Same for the next NPC. 18. Back to hand quest in, go through same process but this time for "COMPLETE" 19. Everything looks good, all steps added 20. Click "SAVE QUEST" 21. Click "SAVE PROFILE" 22. Abandon the quest 23. Check following folder to make sure the quest has wrritten properly: C:\\FFXIVMinion\Bots\FFXIVMinion\LuaMods\Questing\QuestProfiles But the 50-60 SMN.INFO file is 1kb, only step1 is in it, click "SAVE PROFILE" again, recheck, still nothing, click "SAVE PROFILE" again, recheck, all steps are now gone. RE: Questing 2.0 to Buggy to use - sebbs - 08-07-2015 Watch the video guide. Once you create the file. Reselect it or it saves in the last file you used which can overwrite your last saved file. This has always been the case its not questing module its profile manager. RE: Questing 2.0 to Buggy to use - hamsterz - 08-07-2015 more than likely you overwrote a different profile. Sometimes its the "none" file or whatver you had selected prior, also you should reload lua after saving your profile before running /testing it RE: Profile Manager Questions - Ace - 08-07-2015 It doesn't write to Questing\QuestProfiles also, writes to ffxivminion\QuestProfiles. |
