The update patch I installed will not allow minion bot to attach the game or start.

If you cannot see any game to attach the bot manually to, you did start the 64bit (directX 11) version of ffxiv. You must start the directX 9 version in order to manually attach the bot.
Its always in direct x 9, what happens is the game starts flickering when i try to attach then itll say "game started but bot is waiting to attach " and it never does

Thanks! it was msi afterburner which i couldve sworn I uninstalled it

Having the same issue. It worked couple weeks ago and now it doesn't. Didn't install anything.

Figured it out. Windows 10 had quarantined MINIONAPP.exe
