Holding CTRL and walking there usually works.

There are places where automesh or ctrl doesn't work.
like the example in my pictures.
It doesn't matter how much I'm trying with ctrl, I can't make it work.
he will mesh the invisile walls, or the cover for those stairs.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, those places are a mess. I fixed that place for me by editing the mesh in blender, and adding the triangles by hand. It's a pain in the ass though.
