[Tutorial] How to setup Fate Grinding
#1
Star
FFXIVMinion has full support for custom files, such as Meshes, Lua Addons and Profiles.
This tutorial will explain how to install the downloaded files to you're bot. This tutorial assumes that the user has already installed the bot to a folder of your choosing.
In this Tutorial, i will be showing how to set up the Fate Bot!

Lets begin.

Step One.

You will want to head over here to the Navigation Mesh section of the forum so that you can find a mesh, or you could create one yourself.
If you dont know where to find them, they are located here.
For this demonstration i will be using (Lolol's Costa Del Sol}.

Step Two.

Load up the game, and load up the bot too. Once the FFXIVMinion Menu has loaded, the first thing your going to want to do is make sure the bot mode is set to "Grind".

Head over to the "General" Dropdown bar.

If you have a mount, you are going to want to check the box for "Use Mount".
If you don't have a mount, check the box "Use Sprint".

If you want to use PermaSprint(HACK), Open the "Gather" Dropdown bar and check PermaSprint.

Head now into the "Grind" Dropdown bar, this is where you will setup when you will rest, and when you will run away to safety(Flee).
I personally like to stay in the battle as long as possible, but these can be adjusted to your preference.

Make sure you use the "SetEvacPoint" button when you are in the safezone(Town}. This will vary depending on which mesh you use.

Down to the "Fates" Dropdown bar, You will want to check all the boxes.
Look at the fates around the area, The fates most likely go about 5 levels higher than you, and about the same lower than you.
You will want "MaxFateLvl+" at 5.
You will want "MinFateLvl-" at 5 too.
If you want to do fates solo, you will want "WaitForComplete%" at 0.
if you are in a group, and you don't want to do it solo, change "WaitForComplete%" to 1.
Leave "FateIndex" at 1.

Step Three.

Click on "MeshManager". A menu will popup besides "FFXIVMinion".
You're going to want to go into the "General" Dropdown bar on "MeshManager".
Check the box for "Activated" and select the installed Mesh from the "Navmesh" dropdown bar.

You can close out of "MeshManager" now.

Step Four.

Click on "SkillManager". Another two menu's will popup. You can close the "SkillBook" for now. Go into the "General" dropdown bar and check the box for "Activated". Choose the profile which corresponds to the class you're playing. (I'm playing Thaumaturge, so mine is set to that.)

Step Five.

Close all the open dropdown bars on "FFXIVMinion" and check the box at the top named "Bot Enabled". Your bot should start running towards where you set the EvacPoint, or to a fate.

Hopefully this helps you out!

depending on your class, this could end up in tanking a boss as bard or something else squishy... that's why I have it vice versa, when solo I set it to 1% to make sure I'm not alone ;)
