Noob question on dual boxing/botting
#1
Searched for some posts on multiboxing with bots but still have some questions:

Do you use IS boxer for multiboxing?

I assume the "slaves" are on autofollow. And you use ISBoxer to have them target your main target?

How do you micromanage the abilities of your "slaves"? Do you use separate minion keys and have them all on the same mesh with assist?

Sorry if these are obvious questions but im new to this.

i have multiple minion keys, you do not "have" to use isboxer but you can use it if you want to manage FPS CPU usage and windowlay out. these are the reasons i use it.

When using isboxer do you attach the bot after running game through isboxer? When i do that the bot itself runs fine but when try to move the bot window it seems to get stuck/be slow.

i launch all the isboxer games clients first, which then has set all the FPS and core allocations, i then attached each bot 1 by 1 till they are all attached. Make sure to launch the bot as admin.

Thanks for reply, just wondering what are your comp specs? Without isboxer ffxiv runs at around 75% cpu and 70% ram, with isboxer its about 30%cpu. But after a few mins of having 2 ffxiv open, the first just crashes. Have the disable rendering checked on both accounts and the limit framefrate when in background option unchecked. Guessing its a RAM or graphics issue but i know nothing about computers :P

are you using multiple keycodes? because you need a minion key per bot you want to run.

Wow ok i guess that was it, only have one key and one game would crash i guess after loading 2nd bot.

Now have bot attached to only 1 and have been killing things for 30mins with no crash, so all seems good.

Just wondering does your minion bot take slightly longer to react? the bot itself runs fine , eg. gathering/crafting run at normal speed and no lag but highlighting options on the bot itself are kinda laggy. Also sometimes after speaking to npc i cant input certain controls using gamepad(the ffxiv not using minion), i can move camera and use crossbar but i cant move or jump for maybe 10secs. All this using Isboxer.

Thanks for all your help^^

Yea i normally just change control type in the ffxiv character config before starting bot. Though that issue was without minion attached and seems to be fine now. thanks for help.
