Tutorial-FFXIVMinion v1.5 "How to Grind"
#31
do you have fates enabled? if so disable fates. no need to get mad. but i'm sure its something you do not have set up correctly. If there are no mobs with the content ID near the marker it will go looking for more on a radius around the marker thats on the mesh. If you want it to wait near the marker for mobs to respawn then your mesh should just cover the area you want to farm.

Does the bot have an option to use the mount between the fates or does it just run from fate to fate?

Fates i have take of. I have some more mob id´s in the marker and he is only farm those mobs and run a round but nothing do. Same name of the mob is the same id right? I was on area Northern Thanalan. He don´t go a radius. Can i only take the lvl in the mesh and how i need to set them? Or is it not availalbe for mob farming. I need to set the lvl only if i want to lvl a char or do fates right?

Right now there is a problem with single marker type. What you need to do is go to the area you want to farm this specific mob at. Drop the grind marker down. If you are level 50 then set the marker level 1-50 and the timer to 0. Set the marker manager to marker list then add that marker to the list. Then set the Content ID for the mobs you want to farm. for example to farm 3 different mobs 123;456;789. Fates do not need markers at all. Markers are only for grinding mobs. so to put this in list format.

Go to your zone
Select the Navmesh for your zone
Go to the area you want to farm
Set marker mananger to marker list
click new marker
set marker level 1-50
set timer 0
add the content IDs of the mobs you want to farm.(not names but IDs should be ## you get this from the dev tool, or target hte mob and hit whitelist button)
Add this marker to the marker list.
make sure you have a skill profile loaded
hit start.

Lol sorry jackie1234 now it´s going^^ because i have to adjust the camra by automatic in the character config of the game^^

what? you mean legacy mode?
#38
Yes^^

Another Question why we need now the cont ID from the mobs since last update?

anyone knows if there is something I need to do to activate blacklist hunting? I add a mob to hunt and it just goes on killing everything else...

so... the way I was able to make it work was by blacklisting all other mobs in the area and it just hunted for the one I did not, I tried deleting it from the hunted list and it works the same way... so there is no added value to using it in this instance.
