So I am new to this. So I want to farm shards. My miner is like lvl 7. When I select the mining node and click lvl 5 mining node there is no drop down to pick what I want as priority. So I tried to type in Wind Shard and he still doesn't gather. Any suggestions

use gathering mananger if using live version of the bot or use marker manager if using beta version of hte bot. either way they both have the priority for your gathering mode.
