Enjoying the new features, although I'm seeing this error spam in console:
https://imgur.com/a/6OkUk5F I'm also not able to send messages to the respective channels by typing in them without the prefix. My bot appears offline in the userlist, but messages are being transmitted to Discord fine.
I'm tracking that bug down, will push an update when I figure out what's causing it. For now, reload lua with Ctrl+L and it should be ok.
To send messages in the respective channels, make sure to enable the experimental feature under configuration, and then scroll back up to select the channels you want to enable it on. Try to enable it on less channels; each additional channel will add a delay to the addon sending messages from any channel.

Ahh that reload did the trick!

Could you add an @ mention option for channels? It would be nice to be notified when #tells gets messages, for instance.

can add it, but if you have it set up to go to a separate channel, you can change your notification settings in discord for that specific channel to give you notifications for all messages that go to that channel
in discord, if you go to your server, click the name in the top left, go to "notification settings", scroll down to notification overrides, select your channel, and change it to "all"

Could you add an @ mention then for specific things, like your name being mentioned or an emote targeted at you? With regard to the name, maybe a list of customizable words that trigger a mention?

added mention keywords
its under bot token/channel user id can be obtained by right clicking yourself in discord (in the member list) and selecting copy id mention keywords can be separated by a comma, so if you want to listen for "hello" and "username", you would put hello, username in the mention keywords
