Thanks for reporting! The addon is fully updated, twice today actually, and players are having fun with it.

Ping me on Discord if anyone has started a trial and it's not showing up in the FFXIVMinion menu.

Latest minion updates made it show up! Not sure if it was intentionally fixed, but either way thank you!
