Is it possible to detect player line of sight around the bot?
I was WPE crafting last night - and I needed to go somewhere secluded to do it, without getting caught.
Then a player came up close to where I was hiding.
I was like
'Please don't come round this corner, please don't!!'
They were killing mobs - they were around lvl 11 etc
They killed the monster, then waited to heal, then poof!!
They just vanished - no visuals etc
Kinda felt like they might have been a bot - or using the teleport feature of ffxivminion.
Anyway:
It occurs to me, that for the bot - it would be useful if there was a way to detect players around the bot, and conditionally do teleport - if the bot is not visible to other players.
If the bot is visible - travel to a secluded area, then teleport
else
if no secluded area is available- then travel the long way to the destination.
Had it been someone else observing that player - they might have been reported.
