This just started happening in the past week and it's happened 3 times now. I launch, my game starts in windowed mode (I use fullscreen windowed), asks if I want to calibrate a controller, and I'm forced to watch the beginning scene, as if I'd never launched the game before. When I finally get in, all my system settings are back to default. This wouldn't be so annoying but for the fact that I can't skip the frustratingly long opening scene. Any ideas?

that has something to do with ffxiv and the user settings, do you have some sort of weird instalation of ffxiv? also the bot doesnt support window full screen btw

I just have a steam installation, default location. I and my friend always play in Borderless Windowed and I don't think we've had any related problems. What exactly does the bot (or doesn't do) in borderless windowed mode?

crash so if you start getting odd crashes try that first.
