I really didn't want to make this thread, but I'm running out of ideas here.
Since the last few updates once I hit N3+X~ processes FFXIV/Minion drops the load, I don't get it. As a test I set a specified amount of instances on 4 of my 8 eight cores. Once I execute more than N3+X processes of FFXIV: Windows or minion or something instantly drops the CPU and GPU load and its a slide show. Once I cut those X added to N3 everything goes back to normal. If I try to add additional load to the other available 4 cores, it does the same thing.
My temps are good, so I thought it was my HDD, so installed FFXIV and Windows on my SSD, but I'm getting the same problem. The other reason why I know its not a temp issue is that its instantaneous, it's not the system reacting to a rising temperature because it hasn't even got up there yet. As soon as I execute N3 + X it instantly cuts the load.
Is there some type of underlying task/load persistence in windows or minion? I have tried turning off intel speed step so it runs at its default speed too.
I have RAM left too.
