If you can see the sprint-hack then when you uncheck you should be back to normal; That's your normal value.
The speed had been tested by over 41 people in FC. Your perspective from seeing your character move and other is not the same. But, You can always use the build in perm. sprint from minion if it makes you feel any safer.
