We are toying with the idea of changing the dropdown menus to string fields and allowing you to enter whatever you want.

Please add Grenade Ash to the list.

Also when using teleport, it will teleport on top of the nodes and it WONT be able to mine because it will get an in game error message "too far" :/.

But working good so far with speedhack.

We have some code to make teleport work, I can re-enable it. I'll send it out with the next lua push

Has anyone been able to make any gathering circuits that don't crash / get stuck? Share please! :D

I'm running some test code to fix the crash issue atm, if I can run it successfully for 90-120 mins to verify a fix I'll push the update to the bot. As far as getting stuck, I haven't had any problems with that in my routes...are you getting stuck on logs/rocks that you have to jump over or getting stuck behind stuff like trees etc?

i just got stuck for my first time, there wasn't a node close to the last one so it was just standing doing nothing, i manually moved it some squares and it found a new path+node to move

Yeah it sometimes gets stuck on stuff that I need to jump on. Mini-rocks. :-s

Thanks for trying to get the quick crash fix. Will surely sub when it gets released.

Btw, can you post your circuit? I tried the mesh that were available with the program and none of them work for me. :|

.cfg files for the Mining/Botanist list.
Just extract it in \LuaMods\ffxivminion\ and override "ffxiv_gather_manager.lua" (backup is included).
It'll also add a new folder named "GatheringItems", it includes "BotanyItems.cfg" and "MiningItems.cfg" just change/add/remove names from the list and reload the lua modules InGame.

If u want the original version back:
  • delete "ffxiv_gather_manager.lua"
  • delete the folder "GatheringItems"
  • rename "ffxiv_gather_managerOrg.lua" to "ffxiv_gather_manager.lua"

I've only tested it with Botany so far, it's a quick fix till we get a proper fix.
Also if u don't trust me don't use it.

//edit
just noticed I can't attach 7z files ... download here then ...

Thanks for the help, unfortunately with the beta process those lua files are going to be outdated extremely quickly and our autoupdater is doing to delete your modified gather_manager.lua as soon as we release new code. If you want to add a modification its better to write your own lua module that exists outside of our code base so that it won't get overwritten when we update. You can easily hook our functions so that they call your functions rather than ours if you want to modify our behavior without having to deal with the autoupdater screwing up your changes.
