I'm having a little issue with a particular spot in a mesh I've tossed together for mining. What has happened is that the triangles have covered a portion of a rock (but not the whole thing), and when the mesh was generated it created a tiny thin path that joined some of the unconnected triangles together, despite the fact that it can't be walked over.
Now these triangles aren't touching, they're about twice the width of my character apart (an inch on screen, but that's relevant to resolution and zoom obviously), yet the mesh closed the gap.
With the ability to delete some of the mesh, or some of the triangles, this issue could be manually fixed. Is this a feature that can be put in at some time?
I've just gone ahead and redone the mesh without that area in it (I miss a couple mining nodes without), but a feature to remove small sections would be helpful if this pops up again; the ability to fine tune the mesh for best results would be useful.
