so far from what I've seen in the new areas is the 6 mining spots can be separated quite a bit, so for example near falcon's nest I had to make 3 markers just for one area to keep it moving, and just so happens that a marker time of 60 seconds kept mine in constant movement. (this is just an example and I was grinding on dragon obsidian if you need an idea of where I was)
