It kind of depends on how good your team is, and how on time your tricks are. I manually Foe for most tricks. You should know it's coming because your sidewinder is coming off CD, the only 1 minute CD we have. The 1st trick is really good, as it should come up and fall down around same time as chain strat and litany. So in opener you get your 1st IJ with everything except Trick. Your 2nd IJ is everything PLUS Trick.
On the 2nd trick it's not so good, but that's natural as we're in Paeon phase. Since you're doing refresh though in opener, you have the MP to cast Foe at least for everyone else.
3rd trick you have a good phase, but will only Foe if you have mana shifts or a MCH 2nd refresh with you.
tldr; it works pretty well with a good ninja. I don't anything programmed for bad ninja's to hold things because of them, cuz I don't really deal with that often enough.
