If you're getting spammed still after the update, if you could set logging level to 3, reload lua plugins (ctrl-l), open console (ctrl-c), type in DiscordChat in the filter at the top, and screenshot what you get.

It'll show your channel and message IDs (but definitely not your bot token), so you should DM it to me and not post it here.

Awesome, extra stuff gone from LOG at level 1!

It's going to be online right after pressing the button on the wiki page that activates the bot, but if I close the tab, disconnect.

after updates, it works well at this point.

Second, "FC login" channel doesn't work (bot won't send to Discord from client).
Other channels I'm using seems to be working.
I'm playing on Japanese client, so it may affects by some reason.
Is there any solution to this problem?

turns out there were a couple problems preventing "FC login" from being sent correctly. I've fixed the ones I found in a new update. One of the bigger issues is that the utf8 i'm getting is actually invalid utf8, and this affected other chats as well.

I saw another chat addon added to store, is there anything you plan to differentiate this addon from chatter?

I just bought this and I was wondering if it's possible to have different in-game chats sent to different Discord channels?

For example have linkshells set to a linkshells channel, and FC chat sent to that respective channel.

Suggestion: use color embeds for chat in discord. Maybe even add color picker, or use the default colors as well. Someone gave this great example

It would be neat to be able to send specific chat elements to their respective channels, like sending tells to #tells, FC chat to #freecompany, etc. Might I suggest also starting a Discord server for this addon's support/feedback?

I wanted to actually suggest this exact same thing. It woudl be grea to have the option to redirect to specific channels.

Also seems the Auto-translation options in game we have are not passed back to Discord.

i've gotten many requests for it, so i have pushed out an update that will let you direct messages to different channels. you'll need to create new channels in your discord server, and paste their ID into the "custom channel" field as shown below

   

i've added a related feature that i've marked as experimental, and you'll need to enable it in the config. it allows you to type directly in the custom channel you set for a specific chat, and will reply without the need for a prefix.

   

i.e. you set up FC on a custom channel. all fc messages instead go to that channel, and anything you type in that channel without a prefix will be sent back to the fc chat

this has some downsides as it increases the number of requests the addon will make, and depends more on your internet connection. i haven't tested it thoroughly and wanted to push this update out so that's why it's behind the experimental toggle.
