if it doesn't crash, it works. I don't know what that thing is doing and how. It doesn't make ffxivminion any safer or unsafer i guess.

I've used the app on my lefit account while another botted....there was no problem with that anyways.

ffxiv-app just reads/analyzes the chat logs, it interops fine with minion.

I am concern because they track usage records and used google analytics in order to improve their app. Wondering if they could track minion and further report the account/character holder.
