    I have win 7 64 bit and have turned off firewall and antivirus. I have sweet fx installed in the game directory but i turn it off in game. Do you think i have to fully uninstall sweet fx?

    Yes. I tried to run both and fails. Both application SweetFX and Minions employs the approach to 'hook' to FFXIV. This causes conflicts and crashes FFXIV.
