Even 50 is somewhat dangerous and I've seen the same thing happen with a pulse time of 50. I wouldn't go lower than 150 unless you have a very good reason.

What is the 'pulse time' exactly? I also wanted to farm fleece and stuff and it's aöways running against walls or ignoring navmeshes to run straight for the mob. Which is quite annoying since I already meshed it otherwise so ignores one mob on some cliff.. however I'd really like to know what this pulse time does

lower the pulse time the faster the bot thinks. its in ms but the lower you make it the more mistakes the bot can make because its going through checks to fast. You really shouldnt mess with pulse time.

Does it most likely depends on performance or ping?

The default is set to 150ms in my case, I kind of am curious about the difference in case I mess around with it a little
