If you just check the skill manager, it will craft when you press synth in your crafting log, if you want automated crafting you need to open your crafting log, select the recipe you want to do, and then in the skill manager, select how many craft you want to do, enter the number like 10 then select limited from the drop down menu, and press START, or you can also select "until stopped" for infinite amount of craft or "single", also for now, it doesn't work with HQ items, but you can always select them, then press synth for each craft it work too in a "less" automated way :)
